Crazy 2k maxima problems.

Need some major help here. Dunno wth is going on with my max.

I had my mech change my oil to syn. about a month ago. I also changed the coils and O2 sensors same day. The car drove fine at first, but for past 2 weeks it has gotten real bad.

When I hold the gas pedal, and im going from 0 to like 30. and I release the pedal, i can feel 3rd gear come in and then out with a little jump. So I thought it way my tranny messing up. Then i noticed some crazy vibration.

Had someone read the codes, the error is high idle.
WTH is that, high idle. Reset the comp, made sure car was warm. I had 900 rpm in park and nuetral, 700ish in drive.

My friends 99 max has 740rpms in both parking and drive.

What can it be? Intake manifold was just cleaned too. Car drives very rough but I feel like about 30hp lost.

BTW, this is an auto cali emission 2000.

I have also noticed the tranny changing gears at high rpms even though I do not hold the gas pedal all the way down.

Sounds like a MAF problem, or the mechanic left one of the vacuum hoses loose on the intake tubing and its causing un-metered air to get by the MAF causing a high idle situation and throwing a code. Bring it back to your mechanic and have him fix it- Free.
