I dont get it (brakes) HELP!!!

ok, so I bought new rotors and brake pads.

Put them on and car went to hell.

First when ever I braked the car would shake to death (warped rotors I would assume) and the right one seemed to lock on.

Put old rotors back on and that stopped the major shaking (old rotors are warped but only notice the vibrations at 50+), but the right caliper would still lock on. Got a NEW caliper now both front rotors and calipers are having probs. Take it out for a short drive to see how it is, come home and there is smoke billowing out of them and are sizzling hot (I spit on them and it just sizzled)

WTF!

I cant figure it out or fix it at this point. HELP!!!

fisrt of all the new rotors... did you get them turned before you put them on? even when they are new they are not perfectly flat. if you brakes are sticking its because you reinstalled something wrong so the pads are in constarnt contact with the rotor. that is also boiling your brake fluid.... not good. my advice is get a service manual and take it all apart. have the new rotors turned, then install everything properly like it says in the book.

Get a service manual and review your installation procedure

Like I said. I went and put my Old rotors back on. I dont really care about the vibrations, I know how to fix that.

You really cant install these wrong, it is like a computer, everything only fits one way.

also make sure you bleed the lines. I had the same problem on my S-10 in high school. I let it go until it threw me in the ditch one winter.

Well something is wrong. Because unless 2 CALIPERS were screwed up, it would seem you did something wrong. BTW it's "brakes".
