HELP! 'Sliding' type noise in dash

Sounds like a screw or something is sliding back and forth in my dash. It's not anything in the glove box or center console (I emptied those out)

I removed the center vent to try to check in the heating ducts, but it's dark and I can't see much.

Anybody ever have this issue? Any input/ideas are welcome....it's driving me nuts!!

you may want to pull the radio out...there are a number of things that could make that noise if they were loose, located behind the radio/climate control assembly.

Same problem with me, it's almost like a rattling of something inside the radio, and it is driving e nuts too. Every time i hit a bump its kinda rattles like a screw loose, exactly what you described..hmmm

Thanks. With the center vent out I can see the radio. I'll pull that tomorrow. This noise is not a rattle, though. There is 'something' sliding back and forth in there. Sounds like it slides from the center of the dash to the passenger's side and back again. I get the sound whenever I make a turn in either direction.

Gosh that must be annoying. I mean, how do you go about finding a loose screw or clip or something in there? I don't envy you bro...
