what throttle body cleaner do you guys use?

is there even a difference between manufacturers?

I use Gunk

 

Gunk is the BIZZZOMB, engine bright is awesome too, you can trust GUNK to do what it says.

j/k, I use GUNK Air Intake/Throttle Body cleaner or whatever it's called... it's good stuff. Beware: Like all acetone-based solvents, it leaves a strange smell in your nose for at least a day (or at least it does that to me...)

 

I use the STP. You spray it on and wipe it off. Look at the directions since some say spray in and run the engine. Spraying and wiping seems safer.

is that what you would use to clean what they would call the "throttle bore"? is it the same thing as the throttle?

 

you are not supposed to sniff that stuff. Its worse then glue.

 

You are supposed to use it in your car, not in your nose...j/k
