Can 2k or 2k1 headllights be opened?

I have moisture and dew on my 2k headlights, can they be cracked open? I heard once about putting them in oven, does anyone have the how to for this?
Thanks, I am hoping to clean the inside

^^^Actually thats the way to do it. Heat the thing up in the oven at a VERY low temp, watch the damn thing so you dont' melt the assemble, and use a screwdriver to pry it open.

I opened up my '01 lights without a problem. Remove all of the screws from the backside. Place a towel on a cookie sheet and pop those things in the oven. I believe I did 250 degrees for 15 min. Be sure to wear gloves and be ready to threw the tools you use to open the lights away. The sealent is a pain to get off. To reassemble, place the two parts together and pop them in the oven. Fifteen minutes later, snap the headlight clips in. Well worth the work.... these lights look bad A$$ painted..

cool, thanks all for the replies. I will try this weekend to open them up and clean them, my backup plan in case I have a "meltdown" is to go out and get some AE headlights......
