I was cruising the strips with my girlfriend in her town. We pass by the "local teen hangout" a couple of times. After about the 5th time, an Eagle Talon comes out and tailgates me for awhile. We come up to a redlight and he accelerates sorta hard into the next lane. He revs at me. Me and my girlfriend look over. My girlfriend was laughing. I just stare his car to see if I can identify the model. It had steel wheels. Must be a base model so I thought, easy kill. I was right and I beat him. He turns off at the next turn and does a U-turn back. The next turn, I do the same. He turns off back into the "local teen hangout." My girlfriend and I continue our cruising. This time there was a Hyondai Tiberon (is that how you spell it?) comming out. Same routine as the Talon. I don't know what these cars can do. We start out even until the transmission shifts into 2nd. I start gaining on him and finally beat him by about 2-3 car lengths by 75mph. After than, he does a U-turn and go back. I do the same and still continue to cruise. After awhile, I see the Talon and Tiberon at the hangout. I was thinking that the guy in the Talon musta been ****ed so he told his friend in the Tiberon about it and they guy thought he'd have a shot

Nice job. Sometimes it frustrates me to know that there are people out there that are completely oblivious to what their cars can/cannot take on.
It's not like I'm going to rev the next NSX I see at a stoplight. Sheesh.

The kills that are really funny are the dorks with decked out Honda Civics. They are a dime a doven where I live. The put those 6" tailpipes on the things that make em sound like a desert racer, like a Civic will ever in it's life produce enough exhaust for those pipes. Then they have these wings on them that you would see on some sort of quasi LeMans race car. My little 4 door family cruiser can beat most of them. Though, I imagine that some I see can roll, but most are all looks.

 

When I own my previous Max 96 GXE auto, a cut-coil blue Pontiac Firefly with 5 people in it! Yes, you read that right, a Firefly with cut coil and removed muffler was trying to pass me into a 2 to 1 merging lane that is about 50 feet. In attempt to make me race, the pretty chubby driver stuck his face out of the window bragging his face and showing his teeth to me. Of course, that car was no near the performance of a Maxima, I mean even a firefly with only 1 skinny guy in it could kill the guy in that firefly. Anyways, I beat him easily!

The guy in that firefly wasn't going very fast, but because of everyone else was going slower due to the amount of cops, he thought he was having a fast car! He thinks removed muffler should get him more power!

That guy with 5 people in the firefly was cornering pretty fast, he musta think that his cut coil and the 4 passengers added grip to his tires!
