Trunk Emergency Escape - please help

I have a 2K2, can someone please describe to me or even possibly take a picture of how the line coming from the trunk emergency escape handle connects to the trunk latch? Mine came off and I can't figure out how it goes back on.

Sorry Big. I would but I'm at work right now (read: no car no digital cam on me). If no one responds, I'll be happy to post pics when I get home this evening.

That would be greatly appreciated. I stared at it for quite awhile the other day but I am clueless.

If that's not it, let me know. But, that black clip comes from the escape handle.

Yes! That is the exact connection I am looking for. I now understand what the problem was as I didn't pull off that little cover so couldn't actually see the spot where the clip was supposed to connect.

Problem solved....thanks a bunch man, I owe you one.

Now next time I lock myself in the trunk, I should be able to get out.
