Foglight open and rain?

I took my fogs out to change them and long story short I drove to work without the housings in their holes. It is raining now and I'm wondering if the rain will damage anything (wire connectors) if it splashes up while driving.

Should I install the housings before driving or do I have nothing to worry about?

anytime there is open electrical connections exposed to moisture it is a bad situation. i'd say put the covers on ASAP. even the wind blowing moisture into the housing can be bad. get them on before the drive home, getting a little wet is better than frying your electrical system

i would hope if you needed to leave the job unfinished, you covered the exposed wires eith tape.
you will probably have moisture in your housing now, causing you to have fogGED lights with condensation.

Actually the housings were left in my car. The only things exposed were the connectors. I just ran out and realized it hadn't started raining yet so I connected the wires. I will reinstall the stock bulbs when I get a chance and its dry out.
