i blew out the check engine light... help ?
A LONG time ago my check engine soon light came on it just wouldnt go away , i hated the light on my dash it would jsut annoy the hell outta me, so 1 of my freinds(thinkign he was doin me a favor)opened up the cluster and popped the light or sometign and now it doesnt come on AT ALL , i checked for codes and i have some , so i know he id somethign with the light i opened up the cluster and realized there were NO little bulbs liek in all other cars like camrys etc etc, how do you fix that on a 03 max ?i didnt see any bulbs and stuff what can i do ?

First, I would put a fresh new bulb in the cluster and plug the cluster back in and see if the bulb turns on with the key in the "Battery" position. This will tell you if the bulb is actually working. If not, you're going to have to trace the connections to see if you have voltage anywhere. I would start with all the fuses and go from there. Using a multimeter helps out alot, too.

Oh, sorry. Yeah, the clusters are different as compared to the 2k-2k1's. The 2k2-2k3's have less bulbs and more circuitry. You may want to have your cluster checked out to see if everything is in working order.

out of curiousity, what ses codes did you pull? the reason i ask is because you were talking about having trouble running with another 03 auto and the code could lead you to a conclusion.
