What had the dealership done to my 6sp tranny
I just got my 2002 6spd Max back from the dealership after extensive testing on their part for about 60 km, due to engine knock and SES light problems I was having. Well they seem to have fixed those problems but immediately I noticed that when stopped and with the engine on and selecting first gear or reverse, the effort required to select a gear is about 2 to 3 times what it used to be. While driving and shifting the problem is not so apparent and the gear engage fairly smooth. When selecting reverse however the problem is most pronounced. I really have to push back on the shift stick hard.
I also noticed another thing last night. I came to a stop on a slight incline. When traffic was about ready to move I put the car in first gear with the clutch pedal fully depressed. Right away I noticed the engine RPM drop slightly. Almost as if the clutch had not fully disengaged when selecting first gear and the transmission and the engine were still slightly mated so to speak. I also eased of on the break and the car started to roll back slightly. Still with the clutch fully depressed I noticed a bit of a shudder sort of when you start to release the clutch as your getting ready to go and you haven't given it enough gas.
What's going on here. Any ideas of what the dealership could have done to my car would be greatly appreciated.

Just my 2 cents....
Take it back to the dealer and voice your concerns. Then tell the service writer to shut it since he/she will try and deny the problem then call NNA and complain since you will prolly be asked to leave the dealership since Nissan CS sucks......
