Seat removal

Seat removal

Does anyone have an tutorial on how to take out the seats (front and back) for a 2001 Maxima?

Its quite a tuff process!

FRONTS:
1. Remove 4 nuts
2. Un hook any power wires
3. Remove thru open door

REAR:
1. Remove Bottom of seat
(2 pull rings located in the center of the 2 outside seats)
2. Remove side pieces
(bolts on bottom)
3. undo all bolts
4. Lift out!

One thing I noticed when I had my back seat out to apply dynomat, is that it's not really heavy at all. I would say at most your losing 25-30 lbs removing the rear seat. Never took out the front so I don't know about how heavy they are, but probably a good bit heavier.
