I just got it in, and I am curious on how the heck i get power to it. the power jack looks like a red rca, but it is diffrent. how did you get power to this thing? did you cut it off, or did you use some type of odd adaptor? thanks guys!

Quite alright.

but the real question is... "Why not?"

For normal people/drivers, there is no reason... just for show. But in my case, I didn't have a rear view mirror because my bass broke it off, and took a peice of glass with it. Then shortly after, some lady hit me and broke off my drivers side mirror.. so I was driving almost blind. I got this to help me out a bit... and for cool factor.

All you have is a red and a yellow rca correct? You can either go to Radio shak and find a connector with a power and ground wire coming off of it or you can just cut the red tip off and carefully strip the red wire back till you have enough copper to work with. The red wire is the positive and the copper wire with no insulation is the ground. I install camera'sfor a living and I always cut the power tip off when needed.
