oem radio replacement in 2k0

is it true that if you wanted to replay the oem radio/cdplayer in 2kMax with a cd/mp3 head unit, that I will not work unless I replace the speakers all around because of the bose system...?

The bose system has amps built onto each speaker, so thats why they sounds pretty decent compared to other stock systems you can get.
but yeah you should replace the speakers or you can get an adapter that allows you to use the stock speakers.

I got the adapter from Crutchfield for ~$50 (and I probably got robbed!). It works well for me and the sound is great. All I need now is to install my BassLink and I should be all set! Have Fun!
