Addon piece between headrest and seat

Where can I find one of these. IT is for us people who can't reach the headrest do to poor posture It fits in between the headrest and seat so you can rest your head or neck on it. I have seen one before in a maxima but I am looking for what they are called and maybe one that will match my black/charcoal interior well.

Thanks

Mark

Nismo is Nissan. Nissan started NISMO to produce parts like this and performance parts correct?? funny how people complain there aren't enough aftermarket parts and then knock the company Nissan started to produce these parts. Better yet why don't I put something sold at WELFAREMART on my car.

BTW: Posting on a thread you have no interest in just for the sake of posting shows one major thing about your life, and it isn't positive..

Nissan and/or NISMO do not gear their parts for the Maxima. There are much better parts out there for the Max than NISMO could ever provide.

Nismo produces practically no specific parts for the maxima. The overpriced radiator cap and oil cap are about it and it is generic to all modern nissans. Why would I go out of my way to get Nismo parts when they don't make anything for my car? Most likely anything on ebay with Nismo on it is fake anyway.

you are right. They do not gear them towards the maxima because people who own maximas do not seriously modify them. Also when push comes to shove Maxima owners do not spend the extra money in aftermarket parts. Don't hold it against NISMO that there is little aftermarket money to be made in newer maximas, hold it against the owners themselves. Everybody complains no company wants to make Maxima parts well look at this thread. Two people knocked NISMO and said they are gay. I don't blame Nissan at all for not giving a s*hit about the Maxima they are only saving themselves money.

As far as much better parts than NISMO can provide is such an ignorant statement. NISMO engineers know Nissans better than anybody else in the market. Why the hell would somebody else know more about Nissan cars than Nissan? Trust me they know more they just don't care.

So stop blaming a company because they don't feel the need to LOSE MONEY to give you something to think about buying. Companies like Technosquare wont even deal with group deals no more because they Boned them on the group deal. Oh and that turbo deal from SSR didn't happen because NOT ONE MAXIMA OWNER stepped up to get one fitted. Products don't happen because MOST maxima owners are all talk and when they actually have to invest something they run away.

How would this forum survive if maxima owners did not add performance parts to their cars?!...85% of these threads are about modifications, not just how do I change my oil filter. You must have a connection to Nissan and/or NISMO to defend them so strongly. Your entitled to your opinion.

Nothing on a nissan maxima is "Nismo"...nothing. Why not buy a ford blue oval and put that in the car, because it's about as related.

.......btw, I seriously doubt "nismo engineers" designed a head pillow

Since Nissan owns Nismo they also manage it. If they were to create bad products it looks bad on Nissan and Nissan loses money. I am sure the products you get from them are safe and work well.

Think about it guys. How many people have bought the cams for the 5th gen?? Maybe ONE? IF any!! VERY SERIOUS modders KILL FOR CAMS. My brother in law is into building fast cars and the number 1 thing he does is buy cams. Yet JWT makes nothing on us buying the cams. I know they are there because they share with the Z but it doesn't matter. There is NO MARKET. BTW: And intake and exhaust does not constitute as being a serious modder and 90% of these threads are concerning VERY LIGHT MODDING. LEt me give you an example....

A maxima owner: Springs, struts, intake, exhaust, Headers

1999 3L V6 Cougar: 2004 3L block w 2.5 P&P heads & SVT cams - CTA intake, optimized TB, "The Works" UIM/LIM, MSDS Headers & Y-pipe, Magnaflow exhaust, SPEC Clutch & Flywheel, TORSEN LSD, BAT Euro Handling Kit, 21mm Rear Sway, 17", ES inserts, NGK IX's, SS lines, HIDs, Arizona DynoChip XGT1 + Hybrid tuning

Before you post the only thing the maxima doesn't have that the cougar does is the intake manifold. HIDS did not come with the 99 cougar nor the 3.0L

I am done now because I think I have made my point. Also the guy who has that cougar is a friend of mine from Canada and you would not believe the prices he pays due to tarrifs. Add in an additional 30% to what you pay for everything and that is what he pays and he is not rich by any means.

End point : Don't bite the hand that feeds you. By knocking Nismo for what you would produce if you were CEO you are knocking Nissan.

Good discussion guys, (Hope there is no hard feelings)

Mark

Very serious modders also don't buy front wheel drive grocery-getters.

A maxima, although a nice car, is *NOT* high on the list for modders because it's front wheel drive and it's expensive. If it wasn't either of those there'd be parts all over the place for it. Maybe things will change as the 255hp version gets older and comes down in price, but until then don't expect people in large numbers to waste time/money modding a 4-door dad-mobile.

I am not saying Nismo is a bad company I am just saying that there is no point of getting something just because it says nismo.

Cams work very well for domestic cars. But we have four of them. That makes producing them a bit more costly. Many domestic V8s even today are OHV with one just one cam for all eight cylinders. That makes replacing it much cheaper and easier. They show gains on the maxima just not 2 grand worth with parts and installation IMO. On other cars they do wonders and don't cost as much for the most part.

Maxima owners tend to be cheap and skeptical, they want dynos and proof of gains before they give you money. Is that a bad thing? I am not going to give money to any business unless I know what I am getting for it. I would love some more options on LSDs and Intake manifolds, etc. but there is not a ton of people who would buy those things. It sucks but it is reality.

you guys are funny. Everybody hates what is different. I guarantee neither of you know ANYTHING about the cougar and how fun it is to drive. I know because I actually own one. Ignorance must be bliss for you guys.

Besides it was only a real world example and the car itself had nothing to do with my point. It is actually my friend Dan's cougar. He is from Toronto. He wants to race me at a track. We will be neck and neck. HE has to be putting out about 210-220 WHP and equal torque. Should be fun.
