Considering purchase of Place Racing CAI

I've read everything I could fing here but still have a few questions for those who have experience with the Place Racing CAI.

How does it sound when just cruising under 3000 RPMs ?
How does it sound when accelerating normaly ?
How does it affect gas miledge under normal driving ?
How will these change if I install a Y-pipe later?

I like to drive hard on my own but still need to act professional when I have clients in the car.

The car is an 02 SE 6 speed.

Thanks

You can't even hear it under normal driving conditions. The more you get on the throttle, the louder it will be. I'm not real sure about gas mileage but it doesn't affect it much other than the fact that you will be wanting to floor it everywhere because of the awesome sound.

I have the same problem I am a Real estate agent and dont want my car to loud but I ordered the PR CAI anyway considering that it wouldn't sound loud on normal driving!!
What kind of work do you do???
If you're in the R/E bussiness How do you do it with a 6spd?????
I was considering to get one but imagine how hard it it to shift, talk on the cell, look at the map, drive and look professional at the same time would be while having clients in the car???

Get a Berk with Y-B pipe combo and call it a day. Had an injen and the filter got dirrrty which caused gas mileage to suuuck. With the berk sound is nice (fine with clients in car) and mileage went up average of 2 mpg. 23.5 to 25.5. At wot it sounds MEAN!!! Good luck

Actually looking at starting Real estate in the near future. Just have to get a few things in order first. I don't think the 6-speed will be an issue. With hands free cell phone and probobly a nav system it shoultn't be that hard.
I just ordered the CAI on the GD from cattman. Worst case I'll Take it out and E-Bay it for about the same price.
