no chips worth the money. if you want more power then start out with exhaust, intake, underdrive pulley, lighter wheels, etc. technosquare is the only company that has expressed interest in 00/01 maxima (already have one out for the 3.5) that seems like they may be able to do something worthwhile but it has taken some time and i dont forsee it coming out any time soon.

i want a higher redline more then anything, you think a 7600 rpm redline would be ok for a max?

its kinda my beater so im not gonna go to crazy you know, i just drive it, it has a stillen catback and im going to get an intake or ghetot fab one up by geting rid of the intake resonator, im thinking about when i start working for my co-op at college maybe buying a catman b pipe, would that make the car louder with a stillen muffler in the back?

a resonated b pipe really would not increase sound that much but one without will change the tone alot. i think 7600 might be pushing it because ive heard valve float occurs around 8k. i think a 7100 or 7200 might be more suitable and safer.

if valve float is around 8k, wouldnt a 7500 rpm redline be sufficent, i mean its not at the hairy egde, and i think the car would feel alot better, what about the bottm end itself, not taking into consideration the heads, untouched, think they could rev over 8k (of coarse having the right heads setup for it, among other things)?

does JWT make an ECU for our cars?

im not sure that its been proven that you would be making worthwhile power @ 7500. ive seen jwt for 4th gens but nothing for us yet.

yeah thats another thing i figured, the intake would run out of worth, i wasnt sure what the stock intake was good up to, raising the redline to 7200 actaully would make the car feel a crap load better
