Has anybody with an AE discovered any distinc differences between the process for fog lamp replacement in the AE and the SE? Haven't even gotten under there yet, but thought I'd ask just in case the body kit posed any new challenges.

I don't have an AE or a body kit, but I think it might be a little tougher. Ask Kev, since he has the Stillen kit.

The process for changing the fog lights should be the same. The Stillen kit gets in the way a bit, but they weren't that difficult to change.

That's what I figured, but since I wasn't going to do the work immediately, I figured I'd wait and see if anybody had a story to tell about it being more complicated.

No problem... to be safe, wait a while for AE owners' responses before proceeding.

No difference at all!! One bolt less on panel under front spoiler when placed against pictures on Courtesy Nissan. Just remember to pop the entire assembly "out" in order to change bulbs. I used a rubber mallet and 10 minutes later the PIAA Super-Ions were lighting up the road. Good luck....

Killrwheels...

How do you like the Piaa Ion bulbs? Do you have the yellow ion crystals? Thanks!

I have most of the PIAA line. Crystal Ion (yellow) is a very light yellow and provides lighting equal to factory if not better. My 99 Regal GS (Supercharged) has Platnium Whites and they are just plain clear white, not creamy like a lightbulb. My headlights (Maxima) are currently Super Plasma and are Purple. They look more like HID than the blue wannabies......but are not as strong (bright) as HID. I even have wedge bulbs in Plasma and Super Plasmas on the car......I like PIAA and have not experienced bad bulbs. The Regal has had them over a year. I hear ?Raybuds? are good also and run similar pricing. www.autobulbdepot.com has good pricing and provides 2-day shipping for 10.00.

Rabrigs... ye from the posts it seems that most like those... but they are expensive... I have been getting Hiper Industries bulbs... I get them on ebay from the seller calvinwch@yahoo.com they go for less than $20 a pair... I have been using them in my 1990 Maxima for the last 2 years and from the first day that i got the new maxima with no complaints... they look great!! they are white with a little hint of blue tint in them... but very little... they are extremly bright... light up everything...

Thanks...that's what I wanted to hear...

For those in the Raybrig discussion...I like the White Thunder's....nice...I have them in my headlights. I'm going to be putting Raybrig Magnums into the fogs as soon as I can.
