Mass Air Flow-Update

All: Thanks for the help with this repair...turns out the computer did NOT require reprogramming after replacement. I noticed an immediate change in performance when I replaced the MAF and then the light went out about 1-2 weeks later, never turning back on.

yes..as soon as i started and drove the car it went back to normal...no hesitation, stalling, rough running, etc. i was very happy to see it back to normal and avoid the cost of dealership replacement $286 (cost me $100).

THANKS!!!

It only takes about 15min to do maybe a half hour if it's the first time you're doing it, but it's pretty easy to get to. Peep this thread for tips --> http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=360385. Note though that I've replaced mine, but seem to have issues right now, not sure why. Anyway hope this helps.
