vtc - code 0021/0011 - sluggish max
So - I've bought a bone stock used 2002 SE with 40k last week...ran fine until this morning. Felt like I'd lost about half my low end power, sluggish response. I pulled codes 0021 and 0011, which I found this TSB for.

So - how serious/expensive is this to repair?
Would this be covered under the 5/60k powertrain?

I just reset the ECU per the instruction in the FAQ, and the codes were cleared. I let the car idle for a few, and no codes returned. I'm at work, so I haven't had a chance to drive it yet. I imagine the codes/problem will return after driving.

Problem first manifested this morning on the way to work - pulled codes, checked TSB, and got worried. Wasn't sure if the solenoid problem would be covered under powertrain. Figured I'd try to get a little input here since I'm stuck at work for now.
Anyways...
I was able to go out for a quick 4 or 5 mile drive after resetting ECM, and problem seems to be gone for now. No codes after drive. It seemed odd that I was getting the initial codes for the problem on both banks (0021, and 0011). Highly unlikely that I would have two simultaneous failures. In my opinion, it points more to a harness/connector/electrical issue. Will keep my fingers crossed....
On the warranty issue - what documentation is needed to transfer warranty? I purchased from second owner, and there were no warranty documents. I know that the car had a 5/60 transferrable, but what is the actual "transfer" process. In other words, If I were to show up at a dealer with just the car, could I get warranty service based on the VIN/Year/mileage?
