Tire problem or alignment?

ok......my car is finally acting up funny.

I recently swapped the stock 16" alloys for 17" that i bought from another org member.

Since the swap, my car keeps trying to go left.

It's up to a point where i can't push the gas to my usual needs.

sometimes it even goes right. This is kinda scarying me, i almost got into an accident, the steering wheel just moving by itself.

it was around 5pm, and everywhere i went to check the alignment, the guyz would tell me to comeback in the morning, does this take a lot of time?

I use my max to pick-up, and deliver phones, it's basically my delivery van, and yes, i do drive the hell out of it everyday, since i bought it in july of this year, i put on 8k miles.

Could it be the alignment or the rims/tires i just swapped?

How much and how long does it usually cost/take for alignment jobs?

I can't be a single day ithout this car......gotta keep delivering goods....

sounds like an aligment issue so far, shouldnt take too long to get it aligned under half an hour.

If it wasn't pulling before the swap it probably isn't alignment. The only effect wheels have on alignment is offset - if they are farther out they will exaggerate anything that was wrong before. Swap your fronts left to right, if the pull moves too it's the tires - unfortunately not uncommon, usually called belt shift by the tire guys.

if it is pulling really hard it is a tire issue. If it is a gradual pull it is a alignment issue. One easy way to check is the swap the front 2 tires. If it starts pulling right instead of left it is a tire pull and not an alignment issue.

i had mine done and it took two hours it is about 30 minutes to inspect it. an alignment kit takes about an hour depending on what they have to do. guy had to put a camber kit and an alignment kit on my car and it was 1 hour and 45 minutes. GL bro
