Stock bulbs finally blew need recommendations

I need some new H4 bulbs. I want something with a little better light output. PIAAs seem to blow fast and tend to be bluish in color which I'm not too keen on. I read some good things about the silverstars but found no information on their longevity. I wish I could afford HIDs

I've heard mostly good things about PIAAs. Not only that, but they come w/ a 1 yr. warranty as well.

I guess I meant to say 9003 not H4. 1 yr warranty sounds alright. What do you guys think of the "star whites"?

Silverstars are nice

Silverstars are quite good have had mine in a little longer than a year with no problems. They are definetly whiter than stock but by no means are they hids. What is nice is you can match them perfectly with Silverstar H3 bulbs for the fogs for a perfect match that is what I did. Overall a very good OEM replacement.

Piaa GTX bulbs are great. not blue, really white!! as said above have a 1 yr warranty. Silverstars do not compare to the GTX... short of upgrading to HID the GTX does the best job

What the heck!!!!!!!!!! I went to Wal-Mart and picked up some Silverstars last night cuz I was tired of not having headlights lol. So I install them today and fack they didn't come on so I switched from "auto" to the "always on" or "on" mode and it worked. I put the old bulbs in and it worked that way too. My "auto" mode is SCREWED but what the heck the fogs come on!!!! ARGGGH!

i just got h4 bulbs from mtec today for about $25, and they're whiter than silverstars, but i'll have to see how long they'll last, i love the color. i might order another set for my foglights, and keep my silverstars as my backup.

has anyone used the mtec ion yellow

Ok here's an update. Now the passenger side headlight comes on in auto mode but the driver's side doesn't so I checked the driver side connector(the part that plugs into the bulb) it's melted It still works in regular mode though. This is some weird crap.
