Max owners w/G35 coupe wheels...Please step in!

I know I've seen a couple guys on here with these wheels. Any fitment issues or rubbing in the back? What is the offset on these? I'm dropped on Tein S-Tech's right now, and might be getting a set next week. I love the way they look, and I'm willing to roll the fenders/qtr pnl if all I need is a little bit of extra clearance. I know I'll probably get flamed on for putting rear wheel drive rims on a front wheel drive car, but the price I'm getting them for is making it worthwile. Any info and pics would be appreciated.

Yeah, Nissan is not going to be any help. Those guys won't lift a finger for something trivial like this. I was just wondering if anybody got these 18's with S-Techs? It doesn't really matter, 'cuz I'm going to make them fit. If I got to, I'll roll the 1/4's!

I have a 2002 se maxima. I am on 18 g35 with h&R and illuminas. No rubbing issues whatso ever. but i believe tein's you might have rubbing issues. H&R dont go that low. I only rub when i go over large dips in the road or over railroad tracks going 50mph or more. going 40 is smooth sailing. I took it to the shop to find out why there was rubbing(only in the rear passenger side) said that my rear fender was a little unequally made so it sits lower than the right side. but it is a sweet looking ride and i love it. if you want pics let me know, i havent taken pics but i will.

What was the drop with H&R's again? I would like to see some pics please. From the looks and sound of it, I'm gonna have to do some rolling! Post 'em if you can though.....Thanks in advance.

More info here: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=299837

And here: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=274817

They look excellent, but you're best off swapping out at least the rear tires to avoid rubbing.

I seriously considered these, and photoshopped a shot:

Actually, I asked my local nissan parts guy (while picking up something else) if the rims would fit, and out of curiosity how much they cost new (same company owns an Infiniti dealer too).

He said they would fit fine, and would not rub with 225-width tires, and probably not with 235-width tires.

He also said the "new from dealer" cost of this rim...omg....$800 PER RIM!!!

I'm keeping my eyes on the local junkyards....I'll get em 1 at a time if I have to.....whenever they show up.

BTW, there is a set of the G35C 18's with Pilot A/S tires on Ebay for abotu 1300 right now.

$1300.00!!!!!! Dayum! I thought Hawaii prices were outrageous. Most of the sets I've seen advertised locally have been for about $1000-$1200.....and most of them brand new new with less than 2-3K miles. We'll see if I can scoop these up. My friend is working on getting the set for me some time this week. I don't really want to say until I actually have 'em on the car. By the way, Lumbee.......SHWEEEEEEEEET!
