My 03 Max (stock) has the CD stuck in the player..****ing 03s, first it was our Sentra (also 03), and now the Max. Our other Nissans (99) have been fine; just had to vent...Does anyone else have this prob? The Nissan service guy says it isn't a common prob on 03's, but I don't trust them cause they have to re-do two things I had done like 2 months ago...
Man I'm just pissed off that this just happened as I just finished finals.

 

yeah i had the same thing happen to me a few months ago and i took another cd and stuck it in there and kinda just pried the other one out and it hasnt happend since.

 

You can try disconnecting the negative terminal on the battery. That sometimes spits out a CD if its in there.

 

Is this on a single disc CD player or the 6 disc changer? We have the 6 disc changer (in-dash) and haven't had any problems in 2 years.

 

this is the single CD player...I called Nissan today about the two things they have to RE-DO...only been two months one being the rubber window lining (too much wind noise), second rattle in ft. pass door after my lock was fixed..

and told em about this...and I'll try to fix it on my own, but now I get a new one from Nissan...Don't turn down free crap

But I will try to get the CD out, cause they don't give it back to you...I learned from the Sentra, lol.

 

I'm glad that Nissan is going to take care of it for you. I had my CD player replaced under warranty in my '99 Camaro SS and forgot to remove the CD when I took it in. I lost one of my CDs from the White Album. The dealership told me that they would get the CD mailed to me, but I never saw it.

 

I had the same problem maybe a year after i bought the maxima, CD got stock... but the warranty covered it and got a new whole new one for free
