I bought exhaust on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...e=STRK:MEWN:IT
Should I even bother changing my stock one?

shipping kills on ebay exhaust. BTW, my friend had that muffler and gave it to me. Never put it on cause it wont match the car. Stick with round tips. If you really want a new mufller, check powertech... goes for a lil over $100 shipped

You didn't buy an EXHAUST. You bought a muffler. Name your threads correctly.

oops... btw, are you looking for more style or sound? Another option is to get magnaflow tips on the stock exhaust.

Changing your muffler on a 5th gen won't net many gains at all. It will change your sound, and that's it. The 5th gen muffler has a pretty free flowing design. If you want to do it for looks, or sound, go for it. But don't expect performance gains. If that's what you want, get a full catback.
