Dead Pedal Install ?

Merry X-mas everyone. Getting ready to dig my Max out of 19" of snow and clean her up. Anyone have a link for the install of the dead pedal by screwing it into the floorboard. There's one on the how-to's, but it uses velcro and I wanted it to be more stable. Any help would be appreciated!

Not much to write up. 4 screws, one in each corner. Screw it through the carpet.
1" screws are enough.

Glad that 1 works for you. I've got Wild *****'s pedal and it's made with one screw hole in each corner.

I cut mine like in the how-to and I glued a piece of plexiglass to the back and used the velcro. It stays in fine with a couple of big pieces of velcro. I only knocked it loose once since I installed it. I got mine at http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchan...de=67840-Z33DP

Thanks for the info. For those of you that used screws, did you pre-drill the holes? What is behind the dead pedal hump? Does the screw hole open up to the outside? Thanks

yea this is important to know in case your screw makes it to the outside of the car then you'll have to seal it.

Somebody a few post above said he doesn't make them anymore. I got mine from him almost 2 years ago. Pics on my homepage. Very similar to the 350 dead pedal, but you didn't have to remove any plastic to get it to fit.
