hello i just brought a 2000 Maxima in Canada Vancouver...
i loved the car and my friend is buying a 6000K HID kit for me in HongKong(heard pretty cheap there haha) anyway... the car has the day time running light i am wondering is that gonna reduce my HID's life? coz i think it's running the high beam but way weaker when the day time running light is active.. (correct me if wrong) so after if i install da HID kit the HID light is gonna be on too?? but weaker?? and is there any DIY way to rewire the day time running light?? and how?? Thanx^.^

 

There is a fuse for daytime running lights just pull the fuse and your problem is solved...check ones under the steering wheel first (by drivers door) it should be there if not look in engine compartment (driver side)
