I know this is a tire question but its about my 5th gen so i will post here too.
Does anyone have or put 245/40/18 tires on their 5th gen Max.
Not sure if they will rub when i turn my wheel or any other problems.
Let me know any info.

im running 245/40/19. and have no problem so u should be fine

 

i got 245-45-18s and i STILL dont rub ! stock 05 rims

 

What offset and wheel size will you be running with this tire size? I am running this tire size with a 18x8.5 wheel and +39 offset front and +34 offset for the back without any rubbing. if you run too low of an offset, they might rub.

 

My 255-40-17s only rub when you turn the wheel all the way IN- it rubs on the splash shields, I run 38mm offset wheels. I had 245-40-18 Potenza SO3s on 42mm offset wheels and it rubbed in the same spot, even worse than the 17s do. Its all bout the wheels.

My 245/40/18's don't rub at all. 2000 max, eibach springs, 18x8 wheel, +38mm offset

 

18x8.5 42mm and 245/40/18 on D2 coilovers....my ***** slammed and i still dont get rub even when locking the steering wheel....

 

245x40x18 on an 18x8 rim with 38 offset, Maxspeed springs......no rubbing.

 

I have 18" 350z wheels with the factory 245 bridgestones. Eibach springs and iluminas, The passanger rear only rubs over bigs bumps with a fat bastard in the passanger seat. I need to grind down the body seam in the wheel well to correct this.
