My roof is leaking!!!

i drive a 2000 infiniti i30, and this morning, after some heavy showers my driver side headliner/pillar was wet, more like soaking wet. All my windows were closed my sunroof was closed, the door was closed. What could it possibly be? im here scratching my head, the water dried off but left a stain which ill take off later.

Open the sunroof and look at the weather stripping. My rood on my 2002 had a thin strip of rubber that liked to pop off of the metal railing. Not sure if thats your issue, but worth a check.

Check all weather stripping. pull them out and clean on the inside of the weather stripping wax them off and add some lubricant to the rubbers....

no i still have the original nissan windshield, but i do have 2 rock chips which are nowhere near the water, ill check the weather stripping. The ones on the door seam fine. but if the water was seeping in through the sunroof wouldnt my sunroof area be wet also? it wasnt just the driver side roof and pillar...is there a place i can go thatll check it out for me? its suppose to rain for the next week here, and it probably happened when it was parked, i dont have a garage or covered parking for that matter.

I believe the rain/water channels for the sunroof go to the rear and/or the front. so if your sunroof was leaking, it wouldn't leak from there. at least I think so.
