How is it possible to use springs from a 4th gen max on a 5th gen? Ive seen people do it, but have no idea what is done. I have a 5th gen and can get an eibach pro-kit for 4th gen from a friend that will cost me almost nothing this is why I wanna do it. Any help???

You can use 4th gen springs, but not struts.

So if I run the Eibach pro kit from 4th gen with my stock 5th gen shocks Ill be fine? They have about 40K on them. Then when I same some money I can go with a better setup or coilovers.
