No, its not supposed to happen. It sounds like you may have tapped into the brake wire or some other wire that's on all the time.

That's how mine work on both my 95 and 03. Usually most lights you have to switch them off hence the reason for the switch.

Only that the independant re-wire requires the key to be in the ignition in the acc position, but not on.

Sounds normal to me.

Yeah you tapped the wrong wire on the taillight relay, I did it that way intentionally so the fogs can be on w/o the low beams OR parking lights. If you'll forget to shut them off, or it bothers you that it's not the way you i ntended, then i'd recommend you rewire it again, I personally think the car looks great with just the fogs on before dusk, as illegal as it is, but then so are my green sides and exhaust.........

I have the same setup. Basically what you've done is tapped into the wire that has constant power rather then only when the parking lights are on. There are 2 wires and we basically tapped the wrong one, no biggie tho. You can either open up the fuse box and tap into the correct wire or just leave it as is.. i left it alone.. upto you.

yeah i just did it yesterday, and it turned out great, make sure to tap the red wire with green stripes and silver spots coming out of the brake relay...cuz that would be a PITA to have to remember to turn your fogs off after you turn the car off...gl with it
