clock dims with lights on

clock dims with lights on

anyone have this happen to them? when the lights go on the clock dims to a point where its barely visiable? I had this for a while, wasnt sure if u guys had the same issue.

yes its designed to do that. If you want the clock to be bright all the time, there's a wire you can cut.

the dimmer switch is built into the clock. You will regret it at nite if you disable the dimmer.

Dont drive with your lights on during the day, thats the easy fix

i think you can connect the illumination wire for the clock to the dimmer switch. i dont know which wires to cross though. anyone know about this?

You can, but it wont work. The clocks internals are only one setting or the other, none in between.
