Just installed a the stillen Y pipe, Place Racing CAI on my Maxima last week. I could definetly tell a HP gain from before, it's sounds real nice too. The CAI sounds real nice as well, I turn heads, with it whistling the way it does. Installing the CAI took me about 5 hrs( most of my time went into cutting the whole, with freaking tin snips, took me a bit, but I got it, one of the best mods I could have put on), Y pipe took me a bit longer, and I need help, but it's possible guys.. plus I saved myself over 200 labor fee from an autoshop. If you have any questions, just reply to the post. I will post pictures of the "custom grill" in put on, that looks real sweet, I even heard a few say it looks like an IS300 front. Thanks for the great post fellas.

It's always nice installing the mods because of the experience. Put pics of your grill up. I'm sure most of us would like to see how it looks.

Y2KevSE, does place racing give you the entire set up all the way to the throttle body or is that an ooglie type of deal?

Yup... they give the entire setup. I hope this answers your question: http://wwwcsif.cs.ucdavis.edu/~chin/...biles/cai.html

I'll post pics as soon as I can. Does anyone know someone who can host them? Actually I'll just attach it to the thread. It's the full kit from Place Racing, but anyone who buys an OSCAI, you should buy it from Cattman, it's a few dollars cheaper. My is black, and I put the nissan emblem back on it, it looks real mean. I will post up, ASAP.

When you post up the grill pics, please start a new thread and give it a title that relates to the subject, for example, "Custom Grill Info". That would be way better than continuing to put the info in this thread. Thanks.
