no not at all, the funny thing is i was running a little late, thats why i didnt stop for gas. got to school circled the block a few times , found a space and parked. when i came back a few hours later to leave I started my car it started and immediatly died, tried a few more time, then realised i was out of gas, when AAA came & put gas in started right up first try

And there is not a better maintained Maxima on the org than my own.
As far as the gas milage... I'd love to hit 400. I've hit 392 a few times when I was on the highway driving 50-60 MPH in traffic for 6 hours (hurricanes, etc). But usually I'm around the 300-325 mark for a tank. VQ35 = Small Displacement version of a gas guzzler!!

I travel from Landover, MD to Brooklyn, NY - a total of 233 miles - every week and only use half a tank, swear to G*D. I have been doing this since 2003 with my Max. What I do is I try to keep my RPM at or below 4000 even when I am cruising at 90-100mph. at 80mph in 4th gear I am usually at 4000 so I kick in 5th to take it up to 90-1000 and hold the revs below 4000. I have only gotten one ticket so far.
meant to say 90-100

i find that if i dont do city driving.. and arent extremely agressive.. for every hash mark i can achieve ~100 miles.. so i've hit 400 once.. like when i first got my car when i commuted all over MA.. but now that i live in boston i RARELY ever see it over 300 since i work/drive int he city

I once got about 435 miles on about 17 gallons of that awesome New Jersey Sunoco 94 gas.
I commonly get 350+ per tank for every day driving. However my commute to work is 20 miles each way and traffic runs in the 65-75mph range.
