2000 Big Problem?
My service engine soon light is on. The erg flow is screwed up. The dealer ship showed me the hose right past the throttle body is glogged. So me and a buddy sprayed some solvent and cleaned it out the best we could. My light went off for about 5 minutes. I reset the codes by diconnecting the negitive on the battery. Now the light is back on and my car run like sh*t. Does not idle good. And does not have hardly any power. HELP PLEASE.

Don't use any crapy solvent... Use the Sea Foam. Go to autozone or Advance auto parts.. the can is $3.88, use the Brake booster vacumn line and use 1/3 of the can or maybe more depending on how clogged is the line. Your car is going to smoke like hell... don't worry about it... do this and CHANGE THE OIL AFTER IT, this should help your problem........ The SES get used to it.. maybe code P420 or something like that...

The code is 0400 egr flow malfunction. I know where the hose is its hard to get to being just past the throttle body and all. I guess I can take it apart to get to the hose. But if I can't get to this job in the next week or so. Is my car going to start running right. It ran fine until I put the solvent in and reset the codes. The car has started to idle fine just when I get to 2500+ rpms.

Brake booster line is a vacuum line that goes from intake manifold to brake booster. If you disconnect it from brake booster, it will suck seafoam into line and into intake manifold. I have no opinion on whether this is a good idea - I've never done it.
I think you should go to your local autoparts store and buy the Haynes manual for your car, as well as spending a few bux to join this forum so you can search. The combination will save you hundreds (at least) on your car ownership costs.
Best wishes!

Wanted to add one thing to this post. When you drive your car around with a vacuum line, PCV, EGR or whatever that is broken or clogged up, the computer's adaptive memory "learns" to compensate for the reduced air flow and remaps the air/fuel tables. This keeps your car running. However, when you fix the underlying cause, the computer will need awhile to "relearn" air flow, etc.
Seafoam is good, btw. Once you clean out your engine, let it run for awhile at varying RPMs so that the ECU will relearn the proper programming.
