My dvd player headunit install with tek-niq!!!







new pioneer touch screen with up in smoke tour dvd in it heh, took a little longer then expected cuz crutchfield didnt give us a good enuff wiring diagram but we figured it out heh, post opinions

i am getting the avic-n1 soon so hopefully the wiring isnt to hard? or is it??

OT- anyone with a 5th gen and avic n1 have pictures? or tips?

also, where can i get the double din thing?

i heard the gxe maximas have them, anyone selling one?

the avic n1 is the one with the tach and all that **** so thats gota be a *****, and u can get the double din gxe thing at the delarship

did you bypass the ebrake and footbrake with a toggle and momentary switch?

That's just a dash kit. I have a few Metra kits if you need one. $15 shipped.

I bypassed it, yes but only told him bout mouting a switch. right now he has it playing all the time so I also told him be carefull with the cops...

yep. watch out. i think it's afelony if the cops catch you playing video within an eyeline of the driver... when mine is on, i get super paranoid and end up shutting it off, especially at night when the cops can see the monitor from much farther away.
now all he needs is a ps2 in there.

thats a weird thing, he had a ps2 the skinny one that went well in the glove box or so, but we couldn't get it to show on the screen. maybe it was a lack of knowlege of the unit we think cause it was new and he didn't have a chance to study it. but I left the rca adapter hooked up just in case....

if you have some tips please they are welcome.

i honestly think the felony is such bs. its a felony if you get into an accident i believe while driving with it on. ive never heard of anyone i know getting tickets for tv on while driving in sight.

slickrick, friend of mine went to jail for playin girls gone wild on his moniters (has an escalade, had tvs in headrests and visors) lol, thing is, he has 5% tint.. but oh well, he deserved it, he was trying to stunt downtown on a friday night

take the ebrake wire look in the manual for the wire and just simply ground it to the same spot you ground the radio to...
