My wife and I have max's. I was thinking about getting a OBD2 scanner to check the status of the cars.

The carchip is on my list because its small and I can plug it in and take it out at the end of the week and plot the data. Plus my wife is a neat freak and won't have wires showing.

My question is: This will plug in easily (i.e. no blockages)

Should I get the obd2 from harrison r&d since it seems more to my liking. Though the wife won't let me use it in her presence on her car?

I had one, it was more of a toy than a really useful tool. I sold it back in ebay.....
