there's a high pitch noise coming from under the bonnet when i accelerate with the s/c... err... i mean a/c on. any ideas on what it could be?

from the radio?? then alternator noise, but it could be a bad a/c fan motor. i had one replaced. oh yeah another on for my sig.

 

It is the idler pully that came in the stillen kit.

But there are a few complaints about it.
The shop that will be installing mine told me about it from a car that they installed the kit in. The only time it seems to be there is while the AC is on (thus causing additional strain) Of course it could be the same whine that my Roomates Supercharger on his 4runner has. Boosted air flowing throgh the system. Some superchargers do just whine.

Well it could still be a pully
I do know that sence I put my pop charger on it has a whine between 2500 and 4k wi the AC on. But it is not terribly loud.

 

hmm... it's been like that only lately... ill go check if my filter is on right..
