This'll probably be moved to the 5th Gen Classifieds forum, FYI... ya probably would have better responses there anyway....

the 02-03 grille is part of the bumper, so you can't just swap out the grill part, you'd have to swap out the entire bumper/front fascia/grille assembly. It can be done, but it's not cheap to get the entire front end piece!

even if you could get the grill separately, it wouldnt fit in the stock 2k-2k1 bumpers...

You mean the 00-01 grill is a part of the bumper...

The 02-03 grill can't be replaced with that. You need an 02-03 bumper with it.

I'm pretty sure the 02-03 grille just pops right out if ya take out a couple of screws.... its not part of the bumper...

Talk to your body shop guy before determining if the 2k2/2k3 grille won't fit in a 2k1 bumper. The guys I talked to said that it may be possible to remove the grille piece (yes, cut it out) and attach the 2k2 grille somehow. You would lose the painted piece that normally goes above the grille (part of the 2k2 bumper cover), but it might still be worth it (read: cheaper) to check and see if it looks good. If not, order up the 2k2 bumper cover and do the swap. Good luck.

the 2k2 grill looks a lot bigger than the 5th gen grill tho...im not too sure it would fit, even if you managed to cut the 2k-2k1 out....

wow sorry for not being more clear from the beginning, i have the 02-03 bumper to install all i need is the grille. And i do believe that is not part of the bumper from people i've talked to and can be removed by unscrewing. i think above he just meant he won't sell seperatly. anyway i called the dealer and they had it for sale seperately although i don't know exactly how it attaches. anyway i still need a 02-03 grille if anybody has or knows where to get one. thanks
