That wattage seems really high to me. Might fry your stock wiring. Or does the "light booster" protect the wiring? Like my grandpa always said "If you're gonna go, go first class. It only costs a dollar more." Meaning just get a real HID conversion. Don't have to worry about frying your wires that way.

seems like bs to me..it may be a big difference between $70 and $350, but if you get those and fry your harnesses, youre out 70 buck plus the money to repair your headlights....and you could have put that money toward getting a REAL HID kit...

Why don't you try them out and let us know?

"60/55W can boots up to 190/165W, super white beam" Running 165W bulbs can't be safe

i remember reading about this stuff and other "boosters". Not worth it. The only one that I remember was worth it was by Hella (not sure).

Go true HID or just stay stock. It's not worth the money wasted on products to get the "look" of hids.

What little I've learned so far about modding my car is that it's better to do it right the first time, even though it may be more money, then to do it wrong a couple of times and be unsatisfied/disappointed with what you've done. Bottom line is don't buy this crappy "HID" kit. Save up for a real one.

It looks like there is a in-line fuse. The fuse should blow before you damage your harness.

Is it a knock off of systems like catz zeda?! Looks like a load of bunk. Higher wattage might mean brighter, but brighter isn't always better. Like sound, you don't want sound to always be louder, we all know some of the best systems aren't the loudest.

I have this exact system, (but only paid $35 on ebay), and I am happy with it. The install was all plug and play (no cutting and spicing) and only took a few minutes since it comes with everything thats needed including relays. It gives off a bright white light that lights up the road really well. I've used it for a year now and no problems at all.

Or just get some nice super white bulbs... but that's just me, I'm not a fan of these little gimmicky type things.... they just remind me of those $20-for-50-hp chips on eBay....

There's no gimmick, it upgrades your wiring to handle the 100 watt bulbs that come with the kit and has a bluish cover that makes the bulbs emit white light. More wattage=more output. And the quality and design is great.

My friend has them on his T-bird. COMPLETE CRAP. No difference between these and regular color bulbs.

They'll go well with your fake blowoff valve and intercooler.

I couldnt find the stock bulbs to take a pic but the bulbs are much brighter and whiter. Stock is 55w (iirc), and the ones included are Philips 100w.

I went ahead and pulled next to my altima se and did a comparison. You be the judge. These are well constructed kits.

I do not think that when you were 18 and in college you had enough money to afford HIDs. So please make an assumption that I may not be as wealthy as you are...

...anyways, I have a guy who i am supposed to get a set of the H4 HID Simulation Kit. He is selling it for $35. I do not think that I can go wrong with it. Plus, if i try it, i'll know for sure and will post pictures of my results so the rest of you can judge. Aleksey.
