Tein S-Tech on KYB-GR2's

Just wondering how this setup runs as I'm buying them off someone shortly. I think less then a year old. But no worries I know how to check for blown strutsbad springs etc. Just curious to know what to expect out of this setup.

I know already the S-Tech may not be the greatest ride comfort. But feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Get illuminas....GR2s are stock replacements ....bounce bounce

Ride doesn't bother me unless i have a girl next to me flying around on every bump...then again, that's somewhat good

i am running the s.techs with kyb gr2's and damn the ride is bouncy as hell! i am thinking of switching to the illumina's as well so i can actually get some ride comfort out of this! to be honest i feel like a damn bobble head in my car when im driving! i mean don't get me wrong the drop looks very nice clean and even! i am very satisfied with how the car looks on the s.techs, but i wish the ride comfort was just a tad better! i've had this combo on since march 2004, but for the most part i guess i can't complain, i mean after all i'm the one who decided on this combo for my max! good luck with the gr2's if you get them! i would recommend running the illumina's with the s.techs from what i hear from other org members!

A lot of members have moved away from this setup due to ride harshness. There is also a consensus of the GR-2's being a OEM shock replacement, but it's still being debated. A few people here will vouch for this setup, although a majority will disagree. It is really subjective, so go ahead and get these if you want. It'll be cheaper than purchasing the Illuminas, but you'll regret not buying it once you experience the ride.

I had S-Techs and GR2s and it was miserable. Horrible ride quality, bounced all over the place. I went back to stock in almost no time.

I now have H-Techs and Illuminas and it is MUCH much better.
