They may be thicker, but they're smaller in diameter.

I got Brembos in my 02 maxima and they work great! I got them for $75.17 with free shipping at autopartswarehouse.com.

I wouldn't get the stock nissan rotors they are known to warp and i don't think they corrected the problem with them. I would look around and get slotted rotors for it, i don't trust the x-drilled, they crack to easy.

i picked up the highest pices ones at autozone fro my 4th gen and I have to say I am pleasantly supprised with them. I had powerslot with Axxis metal masters before and I was not very impressed with them.

Ebay has a couple of auctions for power slots by a company called performance parts store (800-246-4567) I think. I just called them and ordered all 4 plus Hawk pads for $435 shipped.

I have a 1998 Formula that had warped rotors. Warped rotors are a common problem on 98-02 F-bodies. Most people on LS1.com say that Autozone replacement rotors work well on the street. Maybe these are worth a try for your Max. I believe the higher level rotors have a warranty also.

P.S. I just put Autozone rotors on my Firebird with no problems. I have only put a couple hundred miles them though.

hey everyone thanks for the responses. yea i dont think im going the stock route. this car is actually my GF's car. she has had the stock rotors replaced twice so stock rotors are no go. autozone rotors are good from what i heard also because i got me a set for my 98 f-body but replaced them with baers.

so anybody else have good experiences with autozone rotors? i may just have to got that route since there in the area or maybe go with the brembos.depending on the pricing.

has anybody bought a pair from the sponsor in the GP section. they have a set for les then 200.00 right now or less then 100.00 for a pair.

thanks

I bought Mountain rotors from oem-nissan-parts.com for $59.99 each with factory OEM Nissan pads (if you buy the pads from the website they are the ones that do not show what brand they are, however they are OEM Nissan. $59.99) 6K miles so far with no issues and I ran them on my previous car, a Solara, for 55K miles with no warping what so ever. Experience: Minimal dusting, good feel and no sound.
