Data Dots...WTF

Have come across a few threads with this topic, but no solution...Is there an easy way to remove the headlights that have had this data dot crap put on? I want to clear my headlights, and wanted to get some directions from those who have the DD, and have taken it out.

Thanks

yea,

they are practically impossible to take out.

I wouldn't even bother, unless you have like expensive tools and a phd in mechanical engineering.

Sorry...Didn't buy the car in IL, bought in PA...When they performed the crank sensor recall, they did the DD as well...Although I do have a BS in Computer Engineering, Ive heard that they are a pain...And Im not looking for info to "teef" any...Better put, can I take it back to the dealership and have them take it off?

I apologize for possibly starting trouble, but I just want to clear my headlights...If anyone wants to question my motive, I will show the title and proof of purchase...

Thanks

When i do DDE installs its not hard to take them off just time consuming.
i'll only give the info usually in person or help them take it off.

Not planning on being in that area till summer.

i try not to open the lights more then once. try to do everything u need in one shot. usually if its onces original sealer is enough, but in your case after u open them the second time add some when u r ready to close them back up.
