Engine is way more responsive now. Just used B-12 Chemtool from Wal-Mart. Less hesitation for sure. Very inexpensive task (took less than an hour) that works wonders.

 

What was your exact procedure? Did you remove the battery terminal before you started cleaning?

 

Disconnected Negative Terminal...sprayed...scrubbed with toothbrush and clean towel...too include the butterfly. Continued until the towel was clean after wiping the inside. I did the same thing 20K ago. Simple and works good. Just reconnect and let the car idle. It will run sh!tty for a few seconds until it burns off the chemicals you sprayed inside. Purrs like a kitten now.

Yeah. Why not? I did simply because I had to remove the intake. That way the computer refreshes and recognizes everything. Overkill? Maybe...but I've never had any problems.
