I just purchased a used 2000 GLE with 52K miles. Car in great shape with one exception: the AC blows cold and the heat blows warm, but I'm not getting any air from the dash vents. Regardless of the vent settings (auto or manual) on the climate control, I only get air either from the floor vents or the windshield vents.....nothing through the dash vents. When just the dash vents are displayed on the climate control, the air comes through the windshield vents.

How serious is this? Am I looking at a blower motor problem or something worse? Or could it be as simple as a disconnected vent pipe somewhere in the dash? I checked for blown circuits and that all checks fine.

Just looking for some advice before I surrender my wallet to the mercy of the local mechanic......
