JET ECU available for the 5th Gen?
Jet V-force
I have the V-force unit in my 2k SE. First time around the block w/it, whooooo! It definately had a quicker acceleration and I FELT more hp in the +4k rpm range. Straight from the manual, "it otimizes the fuel maping and ignition timing." They dynod a 95 Accord and with the unit installed, there was an 8hp gain through out the rpm range. The l.e.d. lights are pretty cool at night as they move with the throttle sensors. Check it out:
Super Street, September 2000 issue, page 92. The install took about 1 1/2 hrs.

Re: Jet V-force
How much and where did you purchase the chip?

I bought it for $239 plus CA tax. I picked it up from JET since they were only 30 minutes away..here's the 411

btw, it's not in a "chip" form as you might be visualizing it, it's a little bit bigger than the size of a regular deck of card. Well, I quess the "chip" is inside it! The unit fits perfectly under the steering wheel column for the sleeper look, that's where mine is...

You guys know how hard it is to chip the 97+ maximas? All of a sudden Jet has something for it?
Considering how everyone ragged Cheston and UDRP because they couldn't come up w/ a dyno that everyone agreed on, you guys are sure quick to leap into Jet's bandwagon.
Until I see a verified dyno, I say BS. Especially when parti throttle gains can be "done" w/ the hokey Venom TP tricking device.
Buyer beware. Note: search for Jet here. Results might suprise you. Ask yourself, what wires were spliced in and how could those wires accomplish what they claim. Maybe it does work.

Do you have a 5 spd or auto? If auto, did your shift point increase to 6600? Also, would you happen to have dyno numbers? Thanks.

I have a 5sp. No difference at idle. Sorry, no dyno numbers yet....
