Damn dude? Where are you that you're paying that for gas, Cali? Did you even get a half tank with that? If gas prices continue to creep up I'm going to keep my Maxima on the shelf and drive my company car Taurus. I don't pay gas on that. I'll use the Maxima for hittin' the hot spots, dates, and cruisin' the strip.

All you Americans should not be complaning!
You guys have such a good economy that the gas price doesn't effect you guys. In Canada, many people doesn't have jobs. Also, the living costs alot with teh tax we have to pay in Canada is so fricking high!

I hear that

The gas station next to my house just crept up to $1.95 a gallon. It's costing me about $27 for a full tank! Oh well, that's what we get for buying such a fast ride =)!

I don't know what the he** is going on..

Less than two months ago, gas was at $1.80, then all of a sudden, it shot up like a rocket. I swear, I have yet to see gas in my hear top $2, but I fear within the next few weeks it will. I'm SOOOO glad I only work a few miles away from home. If I had a long commute everyday, I'd go ballistic!

That ain't nothing! Try getting gas in the San Francisco Bay Area like I do. Premium is getting between $2.15 and $2.30. By summer it might get up to $3.00. I feel bad for the folks up in Canada and other countries, but it doesn't make my credit card bills any smaller.

How about a hybrid-powered Maxima, Nissan?

Some news...

While going about today...happened to hear this on the stock report while i was waiting on the traffic report "that oils were down due to a 2% higher inventory on crude than expected"
...translation for us? Probably means we might not see another dime increase for an extra week. hell last time we had to wait a month for gas prices to drop back a few cents..really now we think a $1.75 is cheap...damn conspiracy...
Being dramatic but i went and got one of those gasoline cansiters...and if this goes on and on i'm going to have to stockpile and at least have a fall back option if they create a crisis like in the late 70's...

I just heard on the news that the gas price rose more than 20 cents in the midwest because a "small" fire in one of the area refinaries.

Geez...it seems like someone snezzes at the refinary and the gas price goes up.

You know what I always thought?

If it were possible to boycott gasoline for ONE day, the industry would lose billions, and it would force them to drop prices of gas! I know it's pretty far out there, but those bast**ds are making SO much money, and they're laughing their butts off at us.

Well, to scare you all... This morning I put 57 liters at 91.9 cents per litre (super).

If you are in the state you should read that as: This monrning I put 15.9 gallons at 3.29$

What does all that mean? 53 bucks out of pocket!

But I ain't complaining, love the car!

Why are they raising gas prices anyway? I would be ticked off big time if I had to dish out $50 to fill up my tank. By the way check this link out, just something else to get upset about. I wonder if they are taking about Mobil, Chevron, Texaco or Arco. http://www.upn13.com/themes/default/...tent_id=393150

Nah... europeans pay WAY more than us for gas (think about at least 4x last time i did the math), and earn way LESS (on avg) than us... (I mean WAY less)

But then again, my last 2 tanks of gas were filled up at $1.46 and $1.66 /gallon -- Exxon 93 in NJ...

Ok...i shopped yesterday and then today up 6 cents overnite to $1.95.99...oh the European prices are because of the government taxes on the stuff. i once read something like 3/4 of the price is TAX...otherwise we'd be more level. hey most governments will get ya somehow...needless to say glad to be in the USA...but at this rate its gotten nutso...feel real bad for you guys in CA...but we're not far behind in the northeast...
