Couldn't say, but you might check Haynes & Chilton for spec/pics. If it is compatible, rest assured, you'll be the first to do it.

Personally I love the 5.5 gen steering wheels compared to the other Nissan steering wheels.

Agreed... It has a soft yet sporty look to it, much better compared to that fugly thing in the 6th gens, or even the 350z wheel imo. And you sure can't go wrong with a wheel that likes to keep my hands warm.

whoa... the Z isn't a mistake... great car, extremely fun...

I love my steering wheel; I think it looks somewhat sporty with the preforated leather wrapped around it and it just looks cool... It's certainly not a boring steering wheel from GM becuase the steering wheels in the trans-am/firebirds look like cinder blocks with a circle around them...

the 350z is a great car... no its not a Z06, its what the Z-Car has always been, a poor-mans sports car. instead of paying $55,000+ for a Z06 you could pay $30,000 for a 350Z. besides with $25,000 extra in your pocket i am sure you could afford a turbo or two

Not to go too far OT, but IMHO, 300ZXTT > 350Z. Put 18's on a 300Z and it's a classic beauty. I don't care for the 350's stripped interior, heavy, bulbous tail, or upright s2000 front end with gaping intake. Considering a 6MT Maxima offers greater utility, a superior interior and similar amounts of thrust for less $$, I find the 350z hard to justify - even with it's superior handling & RWD.

I don't understand why Nissan was able to put a back seat in the G35C and sunroof option and couldn't do this on the 350. That's my only complaint. Other than that, 350Z is a great car.

Like I told ya on AIM, the wheel should fit on the splines of our steering shaft, and you should be able to use the cruise controll and audio buttons that the Z wheel has. I belive airbag will work with a Maxima also, since I done some wheel swappn on other cars like Toyotas- IS300 wheel into a 90 Supra Turbo with a airbag- no SRS light or anything. I was going to install a Momo on my Max, I bought a special boss kit to mount a wheel from Hong Kong, it comes with a resistor to make the SRS controll unit think the air bag is still there- for no SRS light. I just don't wanna loose cruise controll with a Momo wheel, I thought bout relocating the buttons to somewhere on the dash.. but it would be quite involved. I got a non heated wheel off a 02 SE model, since my GXE had a really worn out plastic wheel. Leather on the SE model feels great.

cause the Z is a sport car.. and the G is a 2+2 sport car.... Back i the 70'80'90's the Z came in a 2+2 option... it looked nasty... I used to owned a 280Z with everything and I missed the performance of the 6 cyl in line..... so whoever says the the Z is not good... has to go back and read the history behind the car.....

Well thank you Captain Obvious. I just think the 350Z would appeal to a broader group of people if it had the 2+2. IMO, the G35C 2+2 looks just as good, if not better than the 350Z. I agree with you back with the 300s, the 2+2 looked kinda weird.

Mike,

the main question is: if the meridian heated element will work on the wheel... THough i still won't change up my wheel, i'm sure that's most peoples' concerns here.
