Hey guys, last night on the way home from seeing meet the parents (pretty funny movie) i got in 2 races on the way back. No idea what the cars were though.... The first race was against a oldsmobile or buick or somthing with a V8 and leather We both punched it at the same time and both got tons of wheel spin. IT sounded great!
He took me off the line but when the max got revving it caught up and flew by. You should have saw his face when the max killed his daddys buick.

Next race was against some car that was definitly japanese and had fog lights, thats all i saw It was definitly a 4 banger but had some work done and was a manual. I took off form the line slow but then i heard him rev up loud so i floored it and was gone and he was no where near catching up. I waited for him to do a rice fly-by but he didnt. It was cool.

There was this sweet eagle talon in the parking lot of the movie theater. If you live in AZ you know what Awatukee 24 is and know its just tons of kids hanging out and crusing the parking lot..
Well this talon was cruising the lot and he starts reving and i hear his blow off valve. Sweet i think to my self....
Then he revs her up high and drops the clutch. He must have layed down 40 feet of rubber and choked the people around him with his tire smoke, It was beautiful

I have an auto. I have spun my wheels only a few times. I think the condition of the road is why they spun. It must have been concrete instead of asphalt because it was on a freeway overpass. I have never spun my wheels like that before, i usualy only get a chirp and thats if i torque break first.. The sound was great! especially since i dorve an altima for 2 years.. Any time they made a noise was a miracle...

Yeah, I have never tried on concrete. Plus the tires grip fairly well on dry roads. By the way, nice job beating those two cars

I couldn't pull on Ford Contour V6 5-speed.

Damn this was strange.
I thought that those cars were slow. ;(
I was standing behind him, and at the green light he started going, I didn't lunch that good I think, but he was pulling on me.
Damn, my 2000 SE 5-speed feels slow.

Damn, damn .

How fast those Ford Contours V6 anyway????

Contour

my buddy has a 96 Contour V6 5-speed....
it is Torquey at best...
we brought it to the track out of curiosities sake...

BEST ET: 16.30 @84mph....HORRIBLE!
That's w/ ME driving so i KNOW it wasnt driver error! ; )

Anyway...if it was a Contour SVT...you still should have been able to pass him...they only run mid-hi 15's....

STOP SHIFTING AT 4500rpm when you race!! hehehe
