2002 GLE side skirt question

Why does my GLE have some sort of side skirts/trim? I have noticed other GLE's have it but people at work who have the GXE do not have this piece.

why do you persist on asking dumb questions like this??
the 5.5 gens have the sideskirts while the 5th gens dont...answer your question? good, then delete this thread

bigsherv there are people here that insult and think they are cool... so don't worry about it. You have an 02 all 02-03 came with side skirts, none 00-01 came with side skirts, except from the 20th AE and my 01....j/k I bought them..... I hope this answer your concern. The reason I even asked was if I ever were to buy a kit for my car would I just buy the front and rear part and negate buying the sides.

The person with the gxe probably had a 00-01.
OR:
Check the headlights and if they're the smae as yours than he took it off.
