OD Light Bilinking at startup

OD Light Bilinking at startup
Hello all fellow Maxima owners.
This morning I started my car (2K Maxima) and realized the OD OFF light blinked about 15-20 times them went out. I have never seen this before? Anyone have any idea why this happened? Has it ever happened to anyone else here?
Any help is greatly appreciated.....I just hate visiting the stealership!

Found the information I was looking for!
its a safety mechanism built into the auto tranny.
Let me guess, you most like at some point before you saw the OD light spun your wheels on some ice / snow and hit the brakes right after right? after this happen the Auto tranny keeps itself in 3rd. Upon next start up of the car its still in that mode and the OD light blinks to indicate that. THe next time you start up it should clear itself up.
